PSA on poison ivy

I had a battle with it all over my body this week, including on my junk, face, and a nasty spot that made my elbow look like the snatch of a prop stop princess.
For treatment, I DO recommend getting a cortisone shot at your Doc's office. I DO NOT recommend spraying with brake parts cleaner. Now ya know fellas.

Somebody was either joking with you hardcore or just plain hates you.

How does the cortisone help? I've had poison ivy many times (including once when it covered my face and shut my left eye), but never had a cortisone shot.

If you want +/- 8 hours relief from the itching, assuming the cortisone didn't take care of that, try the hot water treatment.

Don't put Dr. Tichenors antiseptic down there either.

Not sure what it does but it works wonders.

My pops always made us take a Clorox bath as kids when we got red bugs. I remember that shite vividly.

same thing at my house...
in fact, I was in the woods all day today and fully expect a clorox bath in my near future...

It works, but it's damned unpleasant

I think the brake parts cleaner is for before your body has had a chance to react.
