Poche should have been out of this mess with no runs or just one run.

Two runs come thanks to two easy outs on four pitches that should have ended a quick inning. Nope. All downhill from there.

That's not on the coaches. Poche apparently got out is the fifth twice, but nope. That's on the players, just like in 2013.

Five unearned runs on EASY plays. CPM made the right choice, our players just choked..... AGAIN

TBH you're probably right, but Poche should have been pulled earlier

Wow there bud.
Our fans can NEVER blame players.

Only coaches can be blamed. Of course they never get credit for winning ........

Strange how it works.

Poche mentally pulled himself after those 2 errors, and Hale followed suit there for that play.

But they can't choke: they deserve to be there.

If we only score 1 run, it doesn't matter if Poche started, made 10 errors, or got pulled 4 batters earlier.

They ain't that good. Very overrated compared to past champions. Armando Rios would be the power on the this team.

A pitcher with an arm all amped up from pitching shouldn't try to make an overhand throw to first when he had plenty of time to run over and underhand it..

Coming here to say relatively the same thing.

I'm tired of our players losing their balls when we get to Omaha. Seems to have happened the past few times.

This is Omaha. You are LSU. Play your butts off.

Poche was unwilling to even throw the ball to first on a pickoff attempt.

The pressure got to him. It's a classic example of choking.

Hale has played very poorly at the plate lately. It's a very different than the entire year. I think that is also pressure and the play at 3rd supports that.

It's a shame. But teams that are like that really shouldn't win. If you can't handle the heat then that's a significant part of your identity.

They play tight because CPM is in mortal anguish every minute of every game . Worst body language that he could have. The other dugout they're eating apples....

Who started Poche??? Who left him in there when he couldn't throw to first or couldn't throw it to the catcher? He had an 8 pitch sequence where Scivque caught 1 in the air. Meaning the were in the dirt or hitting batters. Yet Pawl aka choke master just leaves him in. The player commited the errors yes but to put it all on them get the frick outta here. Pawl is a master post season choke job.
