Exactly my point. Who starts in Green Bay in less than 15 months?

Exactly. Evidently some of the posters here are expecting a magical SEC ready 5 star MLB to appear. MLB is one of the positions that takes the longest to develop due to the sheer amount of knowledge and responsibility it requires

agree....

would you rather have a 3 star from Florida or a 5 star from Illinois?

Plenty of people I know viewed him as a 3-4 star. Not sure why he received 5. That's very lofty.

That's what many thought would happen with Garrett, and he was considered the best MLB prospect by many.

I was really excited when he committed, thought he was destined to be a stud. Oh well, good luck to him.

Seriously (not directed at OP). I'm pissed too, but let's not go grilling the guy. He was all LSU post commitment and seemed to rep well while a student at LSU. Who knows, maybe he picks up his game/grades/bar-hoppin/whatever-it-is and lands back here his last year. Tighten up.

Yeah. For the most part the guys who are gonna be solid or great players at LSU are on the field as freshmen.

Exactly, they usually have some kind of special team role.

He really wasn't. Guess we could have used his depth but he never really even showed flashes.

I love the recruiting rankings don't mean shite and here's an example of 1 or 2 busts to prove my argument line of thinking. Good lord.
