His twitter comments have hinted at this since last season...

Arden key and Devon voorhies time to step up young fellas

A DE and OLB need to step up for the 3rd string MLB?

Voorhies is too small to be OLB. ILB is Beckwith and Feist. Sam is Louis and Riley and Will should be Debo and Donnie with Voohries not far off. MJ Patterson fits in there somewhere aswell.

Went and rewatched his junior and senior highlight film on youtube. Looked much more explosive and violent as a junior. Also remember that he didn't look good in the All Star game. Did the added weight affect him. Can't read the article so don't know when he had the labrum tear.

He signed with both Miss St and JUCO school. But I think he can be re-recruited out of JUCO.

If he spent as much time studying the play book as he was on twitter maybe he could have cracked the lineup...

goes to show recruiting ratings dont mean shite

I agree in this situation. He skyrocketed from a 3 star to 5 star after a good showing at camp.

I am a student here at LSU and I constantly saw him out at the bar every single night. It seemed like drinking and smoking black and milds was just as important to him as his football was. This does not surprise me one bit. Geaux Tigers.

If true, then he won't be much at a JUCO either. Even if he came in injured, he's had time to recover and learn. Not the first 5 star to flush

So does this show how bad Chavis left us with his LB recruiting? Thank god he's with A&M now.

The Ags would never forget about it, if that would happen which I doubt

They have already gotten Matt Allen and Michael Barash, and it didn't work out any better for them.

Got these gems off Aggy 247 about Garrett transferring:

quote:

AY reporting it wasn't grades....tired of Steele already?

Kevin Steele has already started tearing down the program. He is a program destroyer. He took a crappy baylol team and made them the absolute worst team in college football. He took Clemson's defense and made them terrible. Somehow he got stashed away in a defense controlled by Saban to where he couldn't do that much damage. Now he's being unleashed to wreck havoc on LSU.

Yeah anyone labeling this kid as a bust already is a damn fool. LSU just wasn't the right fit for him. He'll be a stud wherever he ends up. Wish him the best.

wtf? i wouldn't label him a bust, but there is no reason LSU is not the right fit for him after one freaking season

How df did I forget about Louis. He's always consistent and pretty good. Damn I guess we lied about Voorhies size he was listed at 6'2 218 at point . I figured he be 6'2 225 now

That's a huge blow to the most thin position on the roster.

Donnie Alexander
Kendal Beckwith
Ronnie Feist
Deion Jones
Lamar Louis
Duke Riley
Voorhies

They'll be fine..
