I'm a MMOer and the game feels flat.
I haven't bought it because of how bad people on PC talked about it but in talking with friends who have played ESO on consoles, they are completely blown away and say it has almost no issues that it had a year ago when it launched on PC. I guess that's why they delayed it on consoles for more than a year. They saw the disaster it was on PC and wanted to make sure they got it right for the consoles.

If you are on the fence get this game. If you want to play a game that you can sink days into and barely scratch the surface that is what you'll get.
Feels exactly like Oblivion/Skyrim but with an MMO twist that does change the pace a bit. Playing on the European server I've yet to encounter any major server issues. Only minor glitches here and there that will be patched shortly.
Honestly this is first game that I've truly enjoyed on the Xbox One
Also if you come to the European Server my old roommate and I have a guild with a large pack of British guys that are always on and fun to play with. Probably already 20 deep.
The time is now!!

I moonlight on the EU server as well. I can confirm and concur with everything you've said. Absolutely no problems on EU server, and despite what people want to say, it won't be dead in a month. There are plenty of players on the EU server.

I've been a master race member for my entire life outside of the past 6-8 months. Played many MMO's. I don't get this impression at all. I thought the opposite actually. I was surprised at how alike it was to my experience on Skyrim. I'm blown away with how fun and in depth the game has been so far. Especially after I played it on the computer and hated it.

You'll thank yourself later. As soon as the first "Holy crap, did I just play for 8 hours?" straight moment kicks in. Those moments are rare once you get married

So do I need to join the EU server or NA server..looks like i have to choose one.

I play on the NA server because that's the one my friends are on.

The game is much better than last year on PC as well. It's the best looking MMO I've ever seen.
