If you want to play that game, then you should be saying that Man 'O War > Secretariat

And many people would agree.
I have already said before I think Man O'War is the true goat. We dont need to have that discussion here. I dont even think AP is better than Secretariat. But fear and hg came in here like teenage girls and said that I did

someone said he didn't know horse racing. That was the defining moment in the derailment of this thread.

he's trying to argue that he can read horse's thoughts and knows AP wasn't giving it his all because he wasn't pushed but yet secretariat being 10 miles in front of the pack is being pushed and he's going all out

With the Triple Crown at stake and AP's not gonna go all out??

Yea. The stupid horse knew he was going for the triple crown, and cared. He prlly knew exactly how long it had been since the last horse won it too.

if secretariat was at the race he would have gave him the stare as he crossed the finish line

Never once said that. Look, im cool with back in forth in a Lebron thread. But in every thread, dont come in being a dumbfrick and saying things i never once mentioned. I never once said AP was thinking anything. I said horse races are based on more than horses running all out

Once again, AP is the undefeated horse, not Secretariat.
And if you had to choose between AP and Secretariat on this past Belmont morning with the Triple Crown hanging in the balance, knowing what you know now, you'd pick AP? You'll have to peddle that rationale on some other street corner.

AP is a great horse and probably the best horse on the planet right now, but Secretariat is arguably the greatest race horse of all time. I think a better comparison would be comparing him against Slew or Affirmed.

Man are you serious? I would take Secretariat all day. I have said that in my first post, and I have said it 10 other times.

Then why the 7-0 reference? Implying you're a racing aficionado then hanging the 7-0 reference and clearly implying that AP is the better horse because of it? Man, you need to pick one line of reasoning and stay with it. Double-speak if I ever heard it. Or maybe you're ovulating... which would explain it.

We obviously don't know for sure what would happen if they raced head to head, but you can't criticize Secretariat's last quarter-mile when he has a 20 length lead going into the damn thing.

Additionally, AP's Beyer Speed Figure was 105 yesterday, which is actually below the historical norm fo the race. The track was blistering fast Saturday, and that was evident in the times throughtout the day. For reference, Secretariat's Belmont Beyer Speed Figure is estimated to have been 139.

Secretariat still wins, but not as bad due to AP running faster as the Jockey would have rode him harder to close the lead(Most likely scenario IMHO)

These are all the times in here I have had to say Secretariat is better. Yet people are still saying I am calling AP the better horse. How is that possible?

I was making fun of fear. He came at me in this thread and brought up Lebron/mj references. So i jokingly said that. look at that post dude, I made it obvious

Secretariat lost multiple horse races. AP is undefeated. It is all about winning right? So Secretariat is inferior according to you

DROPS THE MIC

PS: This is for fear only. I dont really think AP is better
