I would assume that it is contingent upon the recipient being restricted to studying either petroleum engineering, plant operations or welding.
Well, duh...

I would endow a couple of professorships at LSU....
But then the fun begins...I'd fund the veterans center and refurbishment of memorial tower (and throw a few bucks at redoing the Huey )
Would like to see if additional floors could be added to Hatcher, Hodges, and Johnson as well as modernizing the existing floors....turn them back into dorms!!!!!
OR
Fund an experimental remediation/modernization of part of one of the stadium dorms to add restrooms and better concessions
Now for what LSU would have to do for me....I would provide an M-4 medium tank that would be used as the memorial for LSU's first president (I really want to see how many get this?). It'd be placed either on the edge of the parade ground one over by south stadium

After making sure my parents would have no worries for the remainder of their days and a piece of land for myself I'd split the rest between St. Jude and some type of fund to help those at MD Anderson who can't afford it

I went to STM. They got enough money already.

Considering they have their own foundation and prob raise hundreds of thousands of dollars a year? Probably tree fiddy

5 mil. I'd split the rest with my siblings and parents.

My former High School would directly get nada.
I'd set up a Foundation to specifically benefit education in some way.

Since throwing more money at a failing high school has ever worked before.
In fact, high schools from New York to Cincinnati to Los Angeles have turned themselves around without necessarily spending lots of money. Here is the story of one high school in Staten Island, NY:

I myself have tutored at an inner city elementary school here in Orlando that's gone from an F to a B school in recent years.
The innovative thinking and programs already exist; the $225 million I'd donate would be for state-of-the-art EVERYTHING for that school. Given the best of everything, from laptop computers to personalized instruction and tutoring, scholarship money available for just about any deserving student--I'm confident that the perception of going to school at Poor Inner City High would change quickly and drastically, and as would the performances of the students.
Of course, to test my theory, I'll need a winning Power Ball ticket in the amount of $250 million....

I'd pay a million to have a library named after me at my high school it wouldn't make sense though since I wasn't some kind of genius.

I'd go the investment route & 5-10 mill for both St Jude(my Dad's favorite charity) & MD Anderson
Probably a million to TAF

Not a fricking dime
Loudoun County is one of the richest Counties in the country with some of the best public schools.

No, not an LSU alum; I graduated from UC-Santa Barbara and they do an excellent job of hitting me up for money as often as possible!

$0.00, because the Baton Rouge diocese shut my school down. I would, however, try to establish a new catholic high school in south Baton Rouge that would exist outside of the jurisdiction of the diocese. Those arse lords won't get my money.
So you would build Catholic High?

My high school? Zero. St. Jude's? A frick ton.
Dunno. It all depends on the school board and superintendent. Currently, all is good. If I did donate it would be for specific programs or needs. No bullshite state involvement. Any of that....then fricking ZERO. I think one thing that is seriously lacking is career advice/counseling for kids. That's why so many come out and do the same shite as everyone else in their family or local area. Show them what is out there in the bigger world and how you don't have to be rich, lucky or super exceptional to get it. Hell, there are hundreds of good paying jobs out there that I had never heard of when I was younger. Help these kids find something that fits their skills, intelligence and interests. Then help them find ways to finance it and succeed. And not everyone needs to go to college. We need to put somebody with a valuable vocation on the same level of respect as a doctor, lawyer or any other "educated" profession. We need welders, plumbers, carpenters, electricians etc. And those are NOT embarrassing careers to aspire to. Hell, one of the richest fella's I know is an electrician. Another got his start as a welder and mechanic, then he got some old oil wells back functional, fixed up a couple old drilling/pulling rigs and now that sumbitch is worth A LOT!!!!!! All with just a lil ol' vocational degree. I wish like hell I could've spent more of my educational time in the vocational arts than the fine arts. I'm a beast at layering and texturing as well as blending colors, but I have yet to sell a work of art for more than it cost me to make it. sure would be nice to be able to weld my own deer stands though. And those sumbitches sell like hot cakes around these parts.
