I always liked Wright, and I'm glad to see him stepping up. Hope he has a real good season.

It's amazing he didn't have a single catch in 2013, despite playing behind OBJ and Landry. You think Mett could've found him once or twice on a 5 yard out or something.

Awesome. Always really liked him. Had he not been on the same team with Jarvis and OBJ, he would've had stronger stats. Glad he's making it happen.

Kadron Boone was ahead of him on the depth chart, which in itself is insane.

I still think it is an under reported phenomenon that LSU had a WR with ZERO catches his SR season, and still not only got drafted, but actually made a roster and is playing in the NFL right now, going on two seasons later!

That is an amazing demonstration of the exposure and opportunity for development to the next level available at LSU. Even if you can't crack the starting lineup, or even post a single stat for your position!, you still have a legit shot at the NFL.

What it shows is how much better LSU recruits skill positions than line. Our backup DBs and WRs make the NFL, but only a minority of our starting linemen make it.

This has only been true since 2012. Before that, LSU routinely put Dlinemen into the league.

I find it funny people use this to bash miles, he plays special teams and made a few catches, sounds like he is doing exactly what he did at LSU.

I think it just proves its not as easy to recruit as people think. LA will always have a wealth of athletes that can play wr or db, and a wealth at rb. Not so much the other positions.

So happy for this guy. Rueben Randal mentioned that LSU could throw a fade to him in the end zone, but it never happened. Love it when our guys do well at the next level.

Great story. Everyone said he would be playing in Sunday's. LSU was and still is loaded at wide out.

You are confused. What it shows is that we are deep at skill positions but our offense does not play well in College and it doesn't prepare guys for the NFL either. With College leaning to wide open offense and NFL trending that way as well; we are not utilizing the talent the NFL desires.

So 5 catches and a OTA highlight shows this? How about 2013 offense breaking records, and the 2 starters ahead of him transitioned seamlessly into the NFL at all pro levels
