Wanting to learn Spanish, has anyone had success with Rosetta Stone or Hello talk? List any other methods besides moving or visiting another country.

Try Duolingo, it's an app and it's free.

I tried Rosetta stone. Wasn't for me. Boring and I lacked the discipline to sit there for hours every day. Plus I felt like it would've been a lot better if it provided a base of knowledge to build on.

I've been doing Rosetta Stone for both Spanish and Mandarin. It's really fun and it sticks with you.

If price is a concern, I guess Duolingo is alright, but it's not the same.

I use assimil . And I recommend it over all other methods.

Pimsleur is also really good for quick pronunciation accuracy.

I have it. It works great until you slowly stop using it, which you will.
