An election, seemingly pre-ordained to give Mr. Blatter a fifth term as president, is scheduled for Friday.
Shouldn't be awkward at all.

Oh really? Please tell me how he has any influence over sports discussed on the MSB in comparison to the kickball board.
I'll hang up and listen.
MSB doesn't dictate who is the most powerful man in sports is :rotflmao:
Soccer is the most popular sport in the world, so it's safe to say he IS the most powerful man in sports

Are people around the world going to love us or hate us for this move?

I find it amusing listening to the soccer dudes with accents saying "CONCACAF".

You mean the Swiss? They were in Zurich, not Stockholm.

Can someone explain how Switzerland's famous "no extradition" disappeared for this? Or are they being tried in Switzerland?
Obviously the Swiss are historically as neutral as they come about shite like this. I'm surprised this happened there and I'm not surprised in the least they had their FIFA meeting there.

FIFA is worlds more corrupt than the IOC.

The no extradition relates to bank crimes. The article said this falls under general crimes so they can extradite.

I've read that they don't have to do anything when it comes to taxes, but they can help when it comes to things like bribes and corruption.
