Not a fan of Fallon's views but I must admit he is the most overall talented guy on TV.

Kimmel and Conan are funnier IMO

If he's just going to turn the show into a late night version of his political bullshite, no thanks.

He retired that character when he ended the show on Comedy Central. This will be a similar talk show type format.

He was a shadow of his former self once he moved to CBS. Started to take himself way too seriously. I quit watching shortly thereafter. His early days at NBC were awesome though. Larry "Bud" Melman and Chris Elliott made the show though.

I think Conan is probably the best comedian of the three.

Thing is....Fallon is so damn lovable. His show can be successful just goofing off and playing dumb games with celebrities. Can't hate....looks like fun.

I can't watch Fallon, he spends half the show laughing at himself.

eta: Because no one else will.

when he thanked is wife and kid it was really awkward. you could tell the kid didn't want to be on TV, but they kept the camera on him for probably a full minute while he fidgeted around in his seat and tried to look away.

the thing is...its regular Colbert. Not the Colbert he portrayed on Comedy Central.

not sure if it will work
Agree. He was playing the character on the Daily Show, then brought it to his own show, which very quickly got old for me. I'm not saying it won't work, but we haven't seen him as anything but the character. It might put people off.

I went to his show one time and they told us to laugh as hard as we could at every punch line. Most of the laughs were forced on my part. Actually, I think my friend and I started laughing for real at the fact that we were fake laughing at so many unfunny jokes

Don't they do that with all live audience shows....?

Fallon is TERRIBLE. I hope they replace him. Not funny after SNL. Wasn't even that funny on SNL period.

Why does everyone love him then? No one did this stuff for Jay Leno.

Because people remember how good he was 15-30 years ago.
