What's appalling is the number of people that have never had a passport prohibiting them to visit another country.

That's more surprising to you than people never leaving their own state?

It's funny you mentioned that because the only time I ever did that was in Mexico with a hooker

Have left, but will never live anywhere else no matter how much money someone pays me

I know a guy 26 years old he had never been out of brooklyn/queens. I was like WTF. You never even fell asleep on the train? Never been to Long island? He said the hospital he was born in was in long island but that's it

Never been north of the Mason-Dixon Line and that there is fact.

Mason Dixon line dips under Tennessee as far as I'm concerned

I know plenty of people that have never left the state they live in. Mostly they are poor and have no ambition of doing anything but barely existing.

Are you saying you've never lived anywhere else or you have but now are committed to SELA?
I find it crazy to never leave the state you were born in and a little weird to have never moved out of it either.

I don't have a passport and frankly, I have no desire to leave this country.
I travel all over our nation frequently but still have a few items on my bucket list. I've lived in 4 different states.

I'll bet you $5000 Peeej has never left the state of Louisiana.
I'd take that bet. He's almost certainly been to Flora-bama.

I cant imagine anyone over the age of 15 has never left the state they were born in.
I dated this girl who was 18 years old and had never left Louisiana. Actually she lived in Vermilion Parish and hadn't been outside of "Acadiana". Never went to Baton Rouge or New Orleans. She went to Gulf Shores when she graduated high school. She wasn't the most ambitious person I've ever dated
ETA: she lives in her parents' back yard now

The Advocate had an article a few years ago about some poor grade-school kids in the BR area. Most of them said they had never seen the Mississippi River. Their whole world consisted of their neighborhood.
