I thought Derrick got robbed. His meal looked way more appetizing and was substantially more technical than Claudia's. They overplayed the single mom, life changing experience way too much this season between her and the other one IMO.

I wonder if they take other factors into consideration other than the actual food? Like having the first mexican winner.
Everything Derek made in the finale looked incredible. I really wanted to try that appetizer he made.

That's why I like the Australian version of this show a helluva lot more than the American. There are no bullshite "storylines" and the winner is chosen after a blind tasting where each dish is scored by the three judges at the time they eat it.

do you really think Christine was the best on her season? no, she won because she is legally blind.
Becky should have won, but she is just a plain hot white girl so she lost. I didnt even watch the finale because i was so mad that they sent Becky home while christine was still on there.
Christine was given a handicap because of her, well, handicap.

I knew Claudia was going to win, which made it more frustrating to watch. She was a one trick pony the entire season.
