That's a couple of years out of college. Time to establish yourself.

Of course I'm expecting honest and realistic answers from the OT.

I feel like this is a subtle brag set up where you will come back later and say how you have 6 figures saved up or something.

If you''re not making $200K by age 25, you're not even trying, said some douche here a few years back.

Trick question.

Nothing in savings.

But millions in the market, real estate, and Iraqi Dinar.

Mid 20's was just before I got married and I had a couple thousand.

When I asked how much the wife had saved before we got married and she said none, I went and blew it on a set of Calloway X-18s, a weekend in Vegas and paid her ring off.

Well it definitely depends on if you went to college, if you went to grad school, if you went to professional school, if you have student loan debt....

I would think at 25 your goal should be not to have any unnessessary debt (credit card, etc), be working towards paying off student loans by 30, and have started saving some amount per month for emergencies or unexpected expenses that may arise. That would be an ideal situation to be in for a 25 year old in my mind.

Has this 25 year old been living on his/her own after college, or with their parents while they get established?

Alone - $2-$4k
With Parents - $10-15k
