You can put all sorts of stuff in guac. I actually prefer guac that has a bit of spiciness.....we always add salsa....texas salsa.

Guacamole is great but more times than not I'm going to make Guasacaca, the Venezuelan take on the avacado sauce. Thinner with a vinegar kick. Outstanding stuff

Who knew?
Burrito means "Little Donkey"?
"Nacho" is a nickname for Ignacio, the name of the guy that supposedly invented them

is it pronounced guacamole or wuacomole? I had a latino friend say it's the latter.

We prefer the version we make at home.
Ripe avocados, leave a little chunky.
Lime juice
Finely minced onion
Lawry's garlic salt
1/8 inch diced tomato
sometimes a little bacon bits
Always do it by looks, so my measurements vary Important is proper amount of lime juice and Lawry's garlic salt added.
On second thought it's all important
I could be convinced to substitute chunky salsa for the tomato, but not a lot of salsa because I don't want it runny moist.
I can eat some guac.

As long as it's not too smooth, I don't care what you call it. Give me chunky guac or give me death!

Seems like that´s a horseride between guacamole and chumichurri..... Maybe a Caribbean chumichurri?
Anyway, I see lots of people posting about putting salsa in guacamole. I simply said that until now it never dawned on me that ´mole´ is Mexican for the Spanish word ´salsa´, hence the name guacamole (salsa de aguacate).

Where's the cilantro or are you and LMNOPXYZ cursed with soapy cilantro palates?
Posted on 5/14/15 at 5:06 pm to Gris Gris
That's a terrible curse. Cilantro rules.

Plus minced fresh jalapeño ,garlic and lime juice.

I didn't have any of the fresh yesterday, so I used dry cilantro.
Held it up, but it's not the same.

Now, while there's some momentum, about those ribs....

If you remove the meat before you overcook them, you won't have to worry about them falling off the bone.
