My biggest pet peeve about women's softball on TV

I watched a good bit of the SEC tourney, mainly since LSU hosted it.
One thing that drove me crazy was how the announcers talk way too much about a players "excitement" or "intensity". Shouldn't that be a given to have the intensity in a tournament? It's like these announcers go out of their way to try to validate softball players as being equal to baseball players.
I watched an interview with the Bama coach before their game and the ESPN girl said, "coach, when I played at Bama and our pitcher got a big strikeout, I gave a big fist pump. What do you do when your pitcher gets a big strikeout?" The coach then said she gives a a little fist pump and the ESPN girl asked her to demonstrate it.
I get that people will say, "let them have fun..." but it's just silly to me. It was all capped off when I was UCF's team doing the swimming crap behind the coach during an interview in a CHAMPIONSHIP game they ended up losing.

Women's college athletics have always been treated like middle school athletics.

Women's sports are about having fun. The winning part is secondary

Just when I thought there was going to be a legit topic about softball.

Watch an LPGA tournament. The announcers overdo it to a laughable degree. Every player "is such a competitor", " her short game/driver/putting is just magnificent" or "these girls are all wonderful players." If Johnny Miller was ever in the booth for a women's event, he'd get burned at the stake by the SJWs.

Two years ago and last year, the 3 LSU benchwarmers who acted crazy in the dugout got more facetime than the starters.
Hadn't noticed too much this year though.

My biggest pet peeve is the constant cheering from each teams dugout. Makes it unwatchable

I just feel like I'm watching the little league World Series when I tune into softball. Might as well ask them what their favorite food is and who their role model is.

Probably mostly women announces right? It's the little man syndrome.

Slap bunting is the worst fricking tactic in any sport. shite is unwatchable.

Nothing says "excitement" or "intensity" like a rousing cheer/chant from the dugout.
Girls' sports are so stupid.
