Coach had people contact brpd and get details about investigation. From my understanding everybody in police world knew a week ago that he wasn't even in town. Could have put hit out but that's it

Collins’s representatives are saying that if he’s not selected in Rounds 2 or 3, he won’t play. If a team drafts him in Round 4 or later, he’ll decline to sign with that team

...you know like, facts and stuff are kinda cool round these parts. Feel free

This has been discussed 100s of times.
Collins agent openly said Collins would refuse to sign the contract if drafted after the third round and he would enter next years draft, which would have been allowed.
Further, that team would have been unable to draft him again the following year, so it's a lose lose for that team.
Since he didn't get drafted, entering next years draft isn't an option. So now he must sign as an udfa

Seriously, shut the frick up about it. Oh dumbass saints organization! Idiots! When every other franchise did the same goddamn thing. Yes, we'd love to have him. But he said he wouldn't sign a contract on less than a third and took it to being an UDFA. He has also been in the midst of an extremely serious situation. He wants to go elsewhere apparently, let it go.

You are right. We should have drafted him at some point. So what if Goodell dissuaded teams from taking him. He was draft eligible. Collins should file a lawsuit against the NFL and subpoena e-mails as well as people to determine the real reason 32 teams took a pass on him.

If he said he wouldn't sign if drafted after the 3rd round then does it mean he would have signed if drafted in the 3rd? Saints shouldn't have passed on a talent like that even with the risk involved if there was a reasonable chance of signing him.
