And how do you bring up the cancer someone said they had but quit talking about when people asked questions?

Believe it or not, people don't have to share their personal medical information with you if they don't want to. Stop taking yourself so seriously. No one else does.

The same person lied about military service. Stolen Cancer, Lying Valor would be the best title for their story.

I have a family member who supposedly had pretty serious cancer across the majority of the body.

One day this family member's husband decides to tag along for a visit to the Dr. and wasn't everyone surprised to find out that Jesus Christ himself rid her entire body of cancer the night before the appointment!

Absolute fricking miracle!

I've run across people like this.

It's a specific psychological condition. They enjoy the sympathy from others and so they magnify and even totally fabricate medical conditions.

I don't know who would do that.

Cancer is a huge fear of mine. My Dad had Colon,m my mom Ovarian (well benign tumor, but close). two grandparents, (grandma had double mastectomy, grandpa constantly getting skin cut off. Aunt just went into remission for stomach cancer. I feel like I will definitely get it one day.

Hell this mole on my leg is twice as big as it was last year.

Couldn't see why one would lie about cancer for sympathy.

Well we have a triple crown winner here on board. Peej has lied about cancer and his trailer burning down and now having his a-hole cut out.

Prayers sent to his mix breed grandchild thru these trying times.

I think it's mostly a thing on the Internet. People pretending to have cancer to get money. I only know cuz I read an article about some woman who pretended her kid had cancer for that reason (or maybe it was just for sympathy but she made out with a decent chunk of money). She actually convinced the poor child he was sick. So sad.
