Eagles are going all in for Mariota

A league source tells Profootballtalk.com the Eagles are doing "all they can" to move up for Oregon QB Marcus Mariota. The Eagles need to get from No. 2 to No. 20 overall. They have three picks in the top 85 and several young players available for trade, including DE Fletcher Cox, CB Brandon Boykin, and LB Mychal Kendricks. The Eagles are also believed to be willing to trade Sam Bradford. Considering how many valuable players they're open to flipping, PFT's Mike Florio believes the possibility of Philadelphia moving up for Mariota "doesn't seem all that unreasonable."

We're going to get so many insane offers for that 2nd pick tomorrow

Or the more likely scenario is that the titans are floating this info to drive up offers for the pick a day before the draft

Ideally...they could package Bradford and a 3rd for 12th to cleveland?
Trade 12th (1200), 19th (875), 52nd (380), and 2016 1st (value of at least 400)?
~2800-3000 value for #2 with a 2600 value?
Sounds like a pretty good trade for Tennessee if so. RG3 went for 3 1st rounders and a 2nd rounder?

Just curious but when has going all in for the #1 or #2 pick worked out. RG3 definitely wasn't worth it
Hell, QBs picked in the top 5 position seem to have a high bust rate to begin with.

I think Chip Kelly's thinking is that Mariota is the perfect player for his system.

Yeah. Props to him for having the balls to get the player he feels he needs. The NFL is a league that requires great QB play.

I've long thought that this trade up talk has been 100% BS. The closer the draft gets, I think Kelly goes all-in, in some form or fashion, but who does he really want? I do not think it's Mariota.
If anything has proven right, it's that Kelly is unpredictable but very exciting for the league.
Hell, he may be full of shite, but who honestly is going to take a losing QB in Bradford? Cleveland? No way I am believing that shite. If so, Cleveland is the biggest piece of trash organization of all time. Cleveland is rumored to be offering high picks/future picks for taking Mariota.
Everything aside, Kelly's draft will be fun to watch this year for sure.

I don't know why everybody has been jumping all over Chip Kelly this offseason.
He's never done things how they're conventionantly done and he's been pretty damn successful up to this point. I'll wait to see how it plays out and what his ultimate plan is before critiquing him.

I agree. He's done nothing but impress me for the past 5 years or more. And he seems like he truly believes in himself and his methodology.
I'm not expert on these two situations and how they went down, but Spurrier and Saban didn't do very well in the NFL. And they kinda made excuses and had a bad experience. Kelly is out there doing shite his way and sticking his neck out there. If this doesn't work, it's going to be all on him as far as the media and fans go. AND he's been pretty successful do far.
I can't get behind all the hate(maybe too strong of a word) that he's been receiving.

Philly would be sweet, but I really just don't want him to land with Cleveland or Tennessee
