He'll be another player that is one of the best ever at his position that never had the right pieces around him to win a title.
Because of his (at times) publicly crappy attitude, people forget that he could have really screwed NOLA when he left, but instead he did what he could to help the team out.

Isiah Thomas would run circles around him.
(That's the real Isiah Thomas from the 1980s Pistons, not the new Celtics PG.)

Not really. He guaranteed himself max money by keeping his bird rights intact through a sign-and-trade, but greatly limited the number of teams that the Hornets could deal with. His actions were more about helping him than helping the team.

Also, the fact that Deron Williams dominated his arse for most of his career doesn't help his case
How long did it take you to dust the cobwebs off of this "point"?

No one had made it in five years. It is also irrelevant to his legacy.

Flopping little pussy bitch.

How so? If he gets dominated by another player at his position DURING his time in the league, it devalues his legacy at that position for all time.

Dude scored fricking zero in a game at the end of his Nola career. Yeah, thanks for helping out and staying.

Horrible luck.
Honestly, they are 2 plays away from this series being over already.

Top 3 GOAT PG when him and AD win a title in NOLA.

Anothony Davis will never win an NBA Championship.

Good point guard that will be in the HoF, could win lots of regular season games, but couldnt overcome good TEAMS. The Clippers are far too dependent on Chris Paul, and I think Chris Paul might be a little too ball dominant to ever play against and defeat good teams consistently. Not enough ball movement to utilize the entire lineup on the floor to its full extent.

AD will win one before Dwit or Hardon. Book it, Daniello.

Chris Paul loves handing the ball to Russell Westbrook late in games. AKA "Lord of the Flops"

Not true. SVP was talking about this yesterday. Bringing up how good Williams used to be and how he dominated Paul.

Which is as much of a commentary on williams as it is paul. If Williams can only properly motivate himself to get up for Chris Paul he's not really got it figured out

wait what? It took David West calling him out to make him try for a little bit. His final year here he did not care at all minus the playoff series against the lakers (who he thought he was gonna go to)
