Good luck to all the runners today! It's a cold and cloudy day out, but here's hoping the rain holds out until the evening.
This will be my first marathon so if you never see a post from me again, you'll know why and the OT will be a better place for it.
I'll be taking pictures and will update the OP after the race.
Thanks in advance for the well wishes and to the rest.

Best of luck. Weather looks like shite with cold, wet headwinds the whole way in.

How can it be your first marathon? I thought you have to qualify for Boston?

Hope everything holds up ... wasn't it you that had a few issues a couple of weeks back? Got friends from the Lafayette area running.

Charity spots for non-qualified runners. I'm hoping to come in under 4 hours but with this weather and headwind I'll probably be over that.

alabamabuckeye, you can run for charity ... not sure what route this guy took.

Time is of no concern ... I'd say enjoy the experience and know you're doing a great thing by running for charity!

tke I can't even imagine.

Believe it or not, that's just a bit faster than the qualifying times needed.

OP is on pace to finish in 4:13...he's picked up since the first 5K by over a minute/mile pace.

Two of my good friends are running in it today.
Best of luck, AF and WF. I love you both.
ETA: Wow! Great times!

I'm predicting he'll finish in 4:33. The course gets tougher.
