A Bloomberg article said they sold out of their shoe model last weekend and were on allocation to vendors.

If he keeps winning the stuff will blow up.

Not sure how far they get involved though on the equipment side. It could be boom or bust in that regard. Nike took a big risk, not even sure how their equipment does retail wise.

multiple logos are trashy.....the companies normally pay up for exclusive rights.

I could have sworn I've seen a UA basketball, but I could be wrong.

I did a report in this in a marketing class a number of years ago. I don't remember exact numbers, but Nike's market share was pretty negligible.

It's a market that is full of long established brands. I'd almost equate it to Louisville Slugger and baseball bats. Companies like Marrucci made an impact because the offered a different product (maple vs ash). That can't really be done in golf.

I'm pretty sure they make pads and helmets, but not a whole lot of non-body related equipment

I just looked at his bag. All Titleist, so he clearly has a serious contract with them.

He already said he will never change clubs based off an endorsement.

Under Armour did $3 billion last year. Nike did over $30 billion last year. But they've had something like 18 or 19 consecutive quarters of 20% growth.

Their product is overpriced based on the appearance of lux and Q-rating. Which means is perfectly placed to make an entrance into the Golf apparel bidness.

They're exploding...and there's so much room to grow that even though they moved past Adidas to #2 in sales in North America this past year, they're over $27 billion (USD) behind the competition.

Watch for PP21 to come out with his own shoe soon as well. Scam's had one as well.

Oh and as far as the kid's comment...You cannot tell me women aren't wearing the sh!t out of their tops and lycra pants. That's all my wife wants to wear these days, whether its exercising or grocery shopping.

Personally I own a few pair of their running shorts and I've converted all of my undershirts to their UA Charged Heat Gear. Super comfortable and moisture-wicking.

Don't be surprised to see them muscle into golf apparel in a big way. They're EVERYWHERE right now.

Under Armour has much better clothing than Nike. Nike looks like they only sell neon crap.

Under armor golf apparel is some of the best quality. I have been wearing their stuff for a few years now. Solid color dry fit polos, underwear and dry fit shorts. Several shirts I have been wearing for 2-3 years. If you golf Louisiana in the summer you need to try their stuff out.
