Not sure what the states are. I think Alaska is one. I think Connecticut may be another. At least one of the Dakotas. Wyoming could be there and either Kansas or Iowa. He's playing Hawaii like next week.

After many years of performing in a multitude of configurations, Jack is announcing that he will be taking a break from performing live for a long period of time. To cap off the Lazaretto world tour, and following his pair of headlining performances at Coachella, Jack will embark on a short acoustic tour of the only five states left in the U.S. that he has yet to play. The states these shows are occurring in will be unannounced until the day of each performance. Joining Jack on his jaunt across these locations will be musicians making up an acoustic quartet, including Fats Kaplin, Lillie Mae Rische and Dominic Davis. The shows will be totally acoustic and amplified only with ribbon microphones to the audience as well. These shows will be the very first totally acoustic full concerts Jack has ever done. Each special acoustic performance will be announced day of show at 8am local time. Tickets for these engagements are priced at $3 per ticket and will be limited to one ticket per person. All tickets will be sold at the venue door starting at 12pm local time on the day of the show – first come, first served and cash only. Stay tuned here and to @ThirdManRecords on Twitter for more information and show announcements.

Wasn't there a big documentary about him playing Alaska (or was it some other similar place)?

He played all 7 or whatever Canadian provinces with the stripes (Under the great northern lights, great documentary), but I'm not sure they hit Alaska on that tour.
ETA: yeah no alaska on that tour at least. They were supposed to play Arkansas but Meg dropped out so Arkansas may be one they haven't hit.

Saw that this morning, i think some solid studio projects as well as the documentary American epic will be the results of this time off. Very much looking forward to some new stuff from him. One of my favorite musicians.

I read somewhere else that it is Alaska, Wyoming, Idaho, South Dakota and North Dakota. It could be New Hampshire instead of Idaho, though.

Was hoping a new Dead Weather album and tour would happen after this Lazaretto tour ends. Doesn't sound likely at this point.

that is pretty cool of JW to do that...
I know people hate Kid Rock but he has done two tours now where tickets were only 20 bucks. Even the ones front stage.

Excited to hear where that Wyoming show is

Excited to find out where the South Dakota show will be. Slagle Auditorium on the campus of the University of South Dakota would be a great place, and about a mile from my house! Probably will be in Sioux Falls at The District.
