Hasn't been mentioned yet, but my go-to is a beaver type bait on a 3/8 tungsten weight with 4/0 trokar straight shank hook. Black/blue, black neon, or magic craw swirl (kind of pumpkin-watermelon-blue mix with black pepper) Been using this for about 4 or 5 years now in place of jigs and brush hogs. Deadly on cypress trees, grass and deep banks.

Sometimes. I also texas rig it and peg my weight. I will also fish it completely weightless on a 3/0 round bend hook and reel it across the top of the water.

On the laminate note, we ran out of Wm/Red at Toledo a few weekends ago and started throwing the same in laminate and they crushed it.

Strike King actually recommends fishing the craw on that belly weighted hook, they call it the "Rage Rig".
I threw it pretty heavily last year and did great with it.

Both times I've bought online they've sent me black/blue laminate. I want it to work but its too blue. I NEVER see the flake in person, and I have $70 worth of black/blue laminate sitting in a bag in my office.

Weightless black/red senko in fall or baby bass senko right now. I have caught more fish with the baby bass senko than all others combined. Since I not an OB baller, I use the Bass Pro brand but can use the same one over and over again.
Side note: I take some of the black/red, watermelon and baby bass senkos and put them in the same bag. Within a week or two, the white side of the baby bass gets to be a slight red color (not sure how/why). They work very well.

Immawerm guy too, if you and I fished together, we would fish all day and cover a half acre of structured water,,, but, it would have been well covered.

I actually buy all of my senkos at walmart.
Its too easy, wife says "oh we need some milk and bread", no problem I will go get some real quick. Run through and pick up a pack of senkos (actually about a dollar cheaper than everyone else, sometimes 5.99).
