No. Always feel forced and I already work tons of hours with everyone so I typically just want to spend time away from work. No offense to them, they are good people.

Depends on the event. We've had some really good golf tournaments that were a lot of fun.

They aren't bad but I still consider it work.

There's work life and personal life. I try to keep them as separated as possible.

Back in the 70's-80's I'd do coke, smoke weed, drink and hit on chicks at these parties. We all did. That was the ad agency scene in L.A. during those times. It was fun enough.

But like D. Fagan said, "those days are gone forever/over a long time ago." Now 'd rather be somewhere else than a company "party."

Company party: Oxymoron for the most part.

Yeah I love having to be fake and polite around the counts I work with. Eleven hours a day is not nearly enough time to spend with people you hate, we should have more boring events where I can act interested in your unimportant bullshite.
