Awesome news. It was scary to see him go down like that, but so happy that he's made it back!

Pffft anybody can go over there and get the same if not better production than we have gotten so far.

Praise God! Welcome back Beau!

Great news! With Foster apparently taking over as a full-time 2B and Sciambra as DH, outfield depth was getting thin.

Sciambra as DH
As Mainieri said, still a work in progress at DH. I know Sciambra swung a hot bat recently, but over his career he hasn't been a great hitter, so things could change quickly.

He was a .265 hitter the last two years with the old balls getting spot duty. That's a decent number considering how ncaa baseball has been played recently. Why not give him some real time and show what he can do with some consistency?

Kind of intriguing that with all the hitting talent on the LSU roster, finding a solid leadoff batter remains an issue.
I like what Sciambra brings to the table. He has been very streaky the last few seasons, but he has good ABs and decent speed. Hopefully, he can solidify that spot in the lineup.

If KRob got as long as he did, I'm not sure why #5 shouldn't get a fair chance.

glad he's back, but it will be tough to get into the lineup, unless somebody is injured. Saw his brother against Tulane

He was mine as well. Tommy John. Corey worked with me through the rehab, too. Great team Beau has.
