What were some of the more memorable items?

I don't remember much of the specifics, as that has been over 30 years ago...

however, I do remember marking down some shitty work gloves from around $3 per pair to $2.75 and two ladies actually got in a physical fight over a pair...

that day sticks in my mind because after breaking up a fight between these women, they called me and told me to go clean up the women's bathroom because someone had shite on the floor...

I laugh about it now, but as a 15 year old high school freshman, I was not amused at all...

Yea and it's also good if there is like a hot toy item around Christmas that no one else has.

As a teenager, I worked at the Kmart on Florida Blvd and the one on Range during the early '90s.

Worst job I ever had.

Did you ever work the Blue Light Special cart? I remember my mom would go nuts anytime they came over the PA to announce they were running a blue light special in once department or another.

Wait, I thought you had no memory of your mother.

Sears has the same feeling

I went to a Sears last Saturday to buy drill bits. Nearly 1/3 of the bottom floor was just bare. They also had a really depressing TV section with brands like GE and Kodak and really old Samsungs.

Maybe his biological mother died when he was a baby and the woman who raised him, whom he calls "mom", loved the blue light specials?

He's spoken about being raised by his grandmother. That's what he called her when he spoke about her in the past.

I only brought it up because when I read about the death of his parents, I genuinely felt compassion for Darth and what I thought he went through. But clearly, something's off about the story and I hate feeling like I was compassion duped.

Kmarts' cargo shorts are a great deal. They are very comfortable and light weight but still durable. They match up well with K-rocs in the shoe dept.

The only constant at k-Mart in the 1980's was that when you walked in there would be popcorn and icees all over the floor.

6 in first grade
7 in 2nd
8 in 3rd
9 in 4th
10 in 5th
11 in 6th
12 in 7th
13 in 8th
14 in 9th

So what grade were you held back? It's cool man, we're internet strangers here, and I knew lots of kids that were held back and did fine.
