it happens more often than not. Your guys can't create separation and you're left with no choice but chunking the ball to the ball back to the backcourt? Fine. But I've lost count on how many times we've had to do it. I've literally never seen a basketball team struggle so much inbounding the ball

I agree. It was a great problem. This thread is about adjustments and they've been able to get a lot more out of those plays in recent games.

I was chatting with SOS in another thread and he agreed. Musselman has become a much more visible presence on the sideline these past three 3 weeks. I think Jones is possibly opening himself up to constructive criticism, and it's awesome he's learning it from a guy like Musselman

This is one of the stranger issues I do have with Jones. I agree that I've never seen a good basketball team struggle to inbounds more than LSU. I don't know if it's fatigue, coaching, or what exactly

Johnny Jones doesn't coach - he just stands on the sidelines. All the other coaches are into the game. He needs to get into the game and not just stand there.

I've seen improvement across the board the last 7 games in almost every respect.

Inbounding has improved. Who is on the court at any given time has improved. Shot selection and set plays have improved.

I'm still on the opposite side of timeout usage, but we'll see going forward.

Hopefully we continue to improve tonight.

Oh look, an inbounds play that led to scoring oppotunity and a foul. Are we going to have a running tally?

The game tonight just Proved you are clueless. No adjustments to the zone defense tonight lost the game for us.
