Hoosiers for me. The man is a phenomenal actor imo..
Mississippi burning is a close second.

He's a phenomenal talent.. Sad to hear he retired over 10 years ago.

Hoosiers was the first time I ever fell in love with a movie. It's been too long since I've seen it. Definitely will have to watch it soon.

When I was younger and used to ask my dad who the best actors were, he'd mention Hackman. Hoosiers is definitely a favorite. The French Connection, etc. couldn't like him in Unforgiven

You'd really hate him in absolute power.

When the Washington Sentinels left the stadium that day, there was no ticker tape parade, no endorsement deals for sneakers or soda pop, or breakfast cereal. Just a locker to be cleaned out, and a ride home to catch. But what they didn't know, was that their lives had been changed forever because they had been part of something great. And greatness, no matter how brief, stays with a man. Every athlete dreams of a second chance, these men lived it.
