I liked the first 2 seasons, they were really good, but I quit this one after 6 episodes and just skipped to the last one. So fricking boring. Terrible, just terrible.

On Episode 4. Already a better script than season 2. The Campaign Finance angle in 2 ruined it.

Writers should have made this the last season like a report from last year

What made this show was being edgy, which was non existent this season.

Watched the first 6 episodes and pretty disappointed so far.

The story line with Claire in the Russian prison cell with the gay activist was poorly written and just plain dumb.

Can't believe I have to wait a year for another 13 episodes. I want it now dammit.

Mixed feelings about this season, I thought the dynamic with the author was interesting and the interactions with the Russian president were always very tense. Stamper has always been my least favorite character but he grew on me a little bit this season. Seeing him in a more human light was cool, but I think they focused on him way too much. Probably as a means to fill time. On the other hand the finale was pretty bleh, especially compared to last season. It certainly didn't feel like they had really accomplished anything. Also, Claire is just the worst. She is about as fugazi as they come. Had to be a couple pints low on blood to even say anything honest and I swear, right before she passed out, her accent changed. I got so tired of seeing that tight-lipped, never-blinking, resting bitch face of hers in every scene she was in. Not to mention the hotel room scene, wtf?

What the hell happened to Mendoza? The majority leader is just gone all the sudden and all we get is some fricking aside from Frank about unreported income? That was bullshite, Netflix.

All of that bitching and I'm still hooked like a crackhead on it. Such a good show.

Just finished it. I fricking hate Claire

overall, pretty meh season. Having Mickey Doyle as the gigolo/junkie/author was a lame storyline

I'm almost finished with the 3rd season.

Why does Underwood not knock his ring on a table anymore? His signature move became nonexistent for apparently no reason

Seasons 1 and 2 gave me a certain level of respect for Claire...an ambitious woman who understood that her best path to power was working alongside her husband, not competing with him.

But season 3 makes me outright hate her guts. If she becomes VP or gets a high ranking cabinet position in season 4, I don't know if I have the stomach to watch it. I want to see Frank win without her, and her go back to work at some non profit. Like Frank said at the end, their plan all along only had one chair and she picked a horrible time to come to the conclusion that she can't handle her husband having more power than her. How can she demand to have an equal say in how the commander in chief should run the nation? Your not enough for me? He's POTUS for crying out loud. He gave her opportunity after opportunity to be more than first lady and she failed every single time. This is the most I have ever hated a tv show character. It's so easy to empathize with Frank.

Just finished last night

1) #TeamFrank, not Underwood as Claire is a count with a capital "C"

2) I was underwhelmed by the season as a whole compare to 1 and 2.

3) There's no way Season 4 timeline picks-up anywhere before Frank in his second term, right? No way we can waste any more time on this fricking campaign bull shite.

I watched the whole season by Saturday, while still good this season was by far the weakest.

they have too many unresolved problems. besides Doug coming back after sitting around the entire season, there was too much left undone. it felt like they tried to put too much into one season then ran out of episodes.

don't get me wrong I love the show, in my top 3 easily, just compared to the first 2 seasons wasn't as good

Ducked in without seeing any spoilers.

I've watched 10/13 and I really have to say I'm disappointed so far.

Is this The West Wing reboot or HoC?

This season wasn't what I expected. I expected it be the last season with the presidency being the last stage of his story.

Overall, I'm disappointed and think this season was mediocre.

Finished today

I was under the impression this whole time that this was the last season so I was confused af when I finished.

But I agree with what most have said in this thread. Felt underwhelmed. What spread out over 13 hours could've easily been accomplished in 3 or so episodes

I know Frank is the president and all but how did he get Freddie a job at the White House with a criminal record. If I remember right, didn't he kill someone? How can they have someone that killed someone just laughing it up with the president right outside of the oval office.

just finished, and yea I am a little underwhelmed. It was certainly more predictable then the prior 2 seasons.

I'll touch on some things I did like.

to me, the Stamper storyline became the biggest interest to me. I find him interesting. He's the underdog, but he is clearly the smartest person on the show. He's loyal to Frank, but is great at manipulating people of higher power.

the Jordan Valley storyline, cause I like the Russian & his interactions with Underwood. & the way they double crossed Claire.

the debate was in ep10 or 11 was good TV. Dunbar deserves some accolades for her role throughout the season. She's a very good actress, imo.
