Being reported Payton is considering releasing Galette.. He has an expensive price tag plus the off field issues. So I guess it makes since, this would all but guarantee our first round pick would be olb or de..

You and I must have a different meaning of "being reported" as I have seen this nowhere.

So was it CSP's gf that was pressing charges?

CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora reports coach Sean Payton has "expressed a desire" to release RE Junior Galette.
The Saints just signed Galette to a four-year, $41.5 million extension in September. He went on to post 10 sacks and three forced fumbles after a 12-sack campaign in 2013. But Galette, 27 next month, got into some hot water with the law after the season, as he was arrested for domestic violence and simple battery before later being accused of sexual assault. Galette is due a fully-guaranteed $12.5 million roster bonus next month that the Saints will have to pay. They'd gain nothing by releasing him. Expect Galette back in NOLA this season.

LaCanfora is full of shite almost 100% of the time. He is the one that claimed Ingram wanted to be traded after 2012.
This is the only thing about cutting New Orleans players on his twitter timeline:

Saints have tough cap situation: I'd put my money on Hawthorne, Grubbs and Bunkley getting cut; Colston, Evans, Lofton agreeing to paycuts

His Roster bonus is not guaranteed at all until next month is what I thought. And also, didn't his contract have a clause about getting arrested or behavior that he was freaking out about when that whole mess started?

We don't know for sure. If it did, it very likely required a conviction to affect his contract. No way any player/agent would agree to a deal that voided guaranteed money by simply being arrested.

The only way to get out of paying him his guaranteed roster bonus is by trading him before it kicks in. In that case, the new team would be responsible for the money. Cutting him doesn't get us out of anything.
I don't understand why so many want to move on from Galette. He's not being charged for anything, and all indications are that the accuser is insane. If he gets suspended at all, it will be for one or two games. He was good last season. Not as good as he was in 2013, but not much worse considering our secondary issues.

Sources say Payton concurs with Chad504boy and wants to ax and wax Junior Galette, TPOS, not bc he beats bitches but bc he talks more shite than he can back up

I told everyone he sucks and should be release. Y'all jumped on me. I hope does get release cause he is not worth the money.

Beat me to it, he also reported that his sources confirmed that JG would be a WR and that Reggie would re-enter the draft rather than play in NOLA.

This still makes you an idiot

If we do this, I could see us moving up in the draft to make sure we land either gregory, Fowler or Beasely.

He doesn't suck I agree, but is he worth the amount of money we paid for him? Frick no
He's a good pass rusher, but 14 mil a year? We could pay Justin Houston that and get an All-Pro in the process.
