I ran and grabbed some Pepcid Complete and Zantac 1.5 billion or whatever. It won't go away. If I miss a dose of the Pepcid it's in my upper chest with a burning vengeance.

Do I have to worry about this sh!t for the rest of my life now?

I'm 36, I'm not eating any different than I have throughout my entire life, haven't started drinking in excess or anything like that. I could stand to lose about 600 pounds or so.

Do I need to go see the doctor? What are your remedies to get rid of this sh!t for good?

It will give you throat cancer if it keeps up, serious.

Go to a Dr and change your diet between now and then.

If you have reflux it's not going away for good. Go get some Nexium and just accept that you'll be paying 26 dollars a month from now on.

Search and you will find my thread from a couple weeks ago detailing my heartburn that sprung up on me BAD the last couple months. I bought Nexium OTC and it has already changed my life without me having to change my diet.

Bad news - you probably have esophageal cancer and you're going to die.

Good news - you may have caught it in time. Good luck and prayers sent.

The doctor told me I would have to change my eating and drinking habits or get on prescription meds for the rest of my life to combat the heartburn. That really woke me up. I immediately got on the meds. Still eat what I want and drink like a Mick. Zero heartburn.

Thanks to the OT I know understand what's going on:

1.) Angina
2.) Esophogeal Cancer
3.) Probably death
4.) Lifetime medication
5.) Stop eating and drinking the way I have for my entire life.
6.) Lifetime medication

Thanks OT!

It could very well be mild heart attacks. I'd get to the dr. and get it stopped ASAP so you know for sure.

In fairness, you could also have a hiatal hernia.

Go see a gastroenterologist. He will hook you up with the OTC meds, higher dose, for just your co-pay. You are welcome.
