Kyle Korver is a fantastic role player, I give him lots of respect for excelling as a 4th option. He really is valuable in all honesty...Career averages being 10pts 1ast 3rebs...

However Brandon Knight is an All-Star.

He has the Bucks 2 games behind CLEVELAND in the playoff race (with only a couple of semi-talented teammates as his running mates)

FYI, BK's career avgs. thus far= 15.3pts 4.5ast 3.5rebs per game

Wow. If you have ever watched the Hawks then you would see he is by far their first option.

The last time the Milwaukee Bucks won 30 games before the All-Star Break? 1991. This is also known as the Brandon Knight effect.

LOL, Update. Their by far first option that lit it up tonight with 4 total points 5 rebs and 2 assists, in a loss?

Update. Brandon Knight on the other hand had his usual:
20 Pts, 6 Reb, 5 Ast

Snap to reality here folks. Brandon Knight is a premier PG in this league and he has an extremely high ceiling.

You are as obnoxious as that Kansas city royals fan that is always starting threads about the braves.

As I've already pointed out the Bucks are average at best offensively. On the other hand they are a top 5 team defensively.

Unless you want to argue that Knight is making that large of an impact defensively I hardly think their success can be attributed in any large part to Knight.

Yeah sometimes your first option isn't there. If you ever watch the Hawks you see them look for Korver first thing to see if he can get a shot off.

Except that royals fan was right and every braves fan that was in that original thread looked like a fricking idiot IMO.

As a braves/royals fan, I thought it was hilarious.

Salad isn't my first option just because I eat it before my steak. Korver will never be asked to carry the scoring load.

You're giving career averages, and then later you pick one game out. You have to realize this is a yearly thing. Korver's stats may not be as great, but if you've watched the Hawks at all this year you would understand how important Korver's spacing is and how much that has helped the team reach where they are.

His usage is high. I would hope his counting stats are good. Giannis is already a better player than Knight.

There is also no reason to take a 5th PG for an allstar roster when he's a borderline player anyway.

Kyle Korver has a league-leading true shooting percentage of 73%. Think about that.

The rest of the top 10 are power forwards and centers who take their shots 10 feet or closer to the basket.

Korver is a great shooter and I don't have a problem with him making the All-Star team.

But I agree that Knight is a better player.

Would you eat steak every meal if you could? Hawks would take an open korver shot every possession if they could.

They'd probably take a wide open dunk before that. Just my guess. True shooting percentage in an open dunk is higher than a Korver three (even relatively open in the flow of a game).

I've seen layups given up for wide open Korver in the corner a lot. Especially on fast breaks

Yeah. But in those situations, I think they are playing the numbers game, and assuming they have a pretty good shot at grabbing the offensive rebound on a miss.
