Wow. Duke lover or hater, doesn't matter. That energy in the building just then is just about as good as it gets in sports IMO.

Bucks should not and would not do this - Knight is already proving himself as the team's leader, capable of getting a decimated franchise to the playoffs. He has more upside than Dragic

NBA Trade Deadline about 24 hours away

Don't see a NBA Trade Deadline post stickied...I am intrigued by the next 24 hours - Not many moves have been made by there are several players openly on the trading block.

What moves do you predict go down before tomorrow?

What possible team/new player fit do you see being the best?

Players that might be with a new NBA team tomorrow:
Goran Dragic
Reggie Jackson
Norris Cole
Patrick Beverley
Enes Kanter
Isaiah Thomas
Tayshaun Prince
Jamal Crawford

Milwaukee has fielded multiple offers for Brandon Knight, but the Bucks aren’t biting
The search is certainly tedious!

As I've already pointed out the Bucks are average at best offensively. On the other hand they are a top 5 team defensively.

Unless you want to argue that Knight is making that large of an impact defensively I hardly think their success can be attributed in any large part to Knight.

That tis comical my man...Who would you attribute there success to largely then on the Bucks?

Wow. If you have ever watched the Hawks then you would see he is by far their first option.

LOL, Update. Their by far first option that lit it up tonight with 4 total points 5 rebs and 2 assists, in a loss?

Update. Brandon Knight on the other hand had his usual:
20 Pts, 6 Reb, 5 Ast

Snap to reality here folks. Brandon Knight is a premier PG in this league and he has an extremely high ceiling.
The last time the Milwaukee Bucks won 30 games before the All-Star Break? 1991. This is also known as the Brandon Knight effect.

You really value a "degree" to be the end all be all?

My activities and past experience leads me to believe I can get a job in the international market if I am resilient enough.

Started an e-commerce website that had over $70,000 in revenue in year 1, hopefully that will help me here!

Kyle Korver is a fantastic role player, I give him lots of respect for excelling as a 4th option. He really is valuable in all honesty...Career averages being 10pts 1ast 3rebs...

However Brandon Knight is an All-Star.

He has the Bucks 2 games behind CLEVELAND in the playoff race (with only a couple of semi-talented teammates as his running mates)

FYI, BK's career avgs. thus far= 15.3pts 4.5ast 3.5rebs per game

They are great to watch...If they can keep Knight next year and Jabari returns in good shape...they will be dangerous (adding the way Giannis is developing)

It's a shame Jabari can't contribute this year, would have been interesting!

I bet Knight is shooting 50/50/90 on the year too

Wow impressively, he is not very far off not that I look... 43/41/89

It will take time for casual NBA fans to appreciate Knight's game...He is in the Milwaukee market unfortunately for him.

It is a contract year for him though..

There is a reason D Wade openly said that Brandon Knight deserves the spot and he wants him to have it...

Who would you rather have to build a franchise around, Knight or Korver?
I am graduating this coming summer and I am feeling as though if I am ever going to life in another country and travel the world, now is the perfect time.

I want to live and work in a foreign country for at least 1 year...
Options as of now: Argentina, Asia, Europe, Australia/New Zealand

Does anyone have any experience working abroad?

What countries are hiring the most Americans? Paying the best?

My job will likely be in sales, marketing or education (teaching English)
-My degree is Bachelor of Science in Sociology (With business management/entrepreneurship minors) - I don't plan on doing anything with Sociology...

Thanks for any input!

All irrelevant and matchup/scheme based - Reason he starts and leads team

Brandon Knight > Kyle Korver

Blows my mind how they put in a role player (team 4th best) over the leader of the Bucks who has the best record improvement in the NBA this year.

+ Knight beats out Korver in nearly every relevant statistic...

Brandon Knight --> 17.7 points 5.4 assists 4.2 rebounds 1.6 steals

Kyle Korver --> 12.9 points 2.7 assists 4.3 rebounds 0.7 steals

Because if anyone else averaged 27-8-8, it would be absurd. When LeBron does it, it's what he's supposed to do. It's horse shite but it is what it is

This.

It's a shame that greatness can be overlooked so easily...
When listening to game broadcasts or any NBA talks - LBJ is hardly even mentioned with the top MVP candidates... are people simply overlooking his amazing year because they are expecting him to keep improving?

The most popular picks for MVP thus far have been: Curry, Harden, Davis...

Where does he rank in your MVP candidates? and what does he have to do to cement himself as the #1 choice?

Any chance he doesn't play in the CFB Playoff?

"Star Florida State running back Dalvin Cook was named as an associate in an aggravated assault case from July 17, 2014 that is still being investigated by Tallahassee police. The Tallahassee police released a statement that Cook is an associate, but has no further updates at this time. This release came as a result of an open records request from ESPN:

"While several of the reports requested involve open and active cases, one of note, involves an aggravated assault by two men who are alleged to have brandished a firearm at a neighbor on July 17th, 2014. Dalvin Cook, a current FSU football player is listed as an associate in the case. The case is under investigation and once complete, it will be provided as an update to this release."

The statement notes that ESPN asked for reports with the names of 360 Florida State athletes, and the department handed over 300 police reports where those athletes were "mentioned as a witness, victim, suspect, reporting party, etc."

Geez. :banghead:
For all the bad press coming at FSU from the folks at ESPN...
The Noles' deliver.

"The Florida State-Louisville game on Thursday night drew the largest overnight rating of the season (3.5) for a college football telecast on ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU or ESPNews...
The previous high of 3.3 was set last weekend by the Ole Miss-LSU game."

9th highest overnight rating for a Thursday night game since 2000
