I'm an O-T poor so unlike you O-T ballers I fly economy commercial. I was on a flight out of BR to Houston and sat a few rows behind then LSU Chancellor Mark Emmert. That's all I got. Hey not the most famous person but he is probably one of the most hated people right now in college athletics.

I was flying into Jackson Hole on the same plane with a bunch of economists and Clinton Administration officials who were going there for a conference. They weren't exactly famous unless you're a policy geek, but that's all I got. I did walk past Richard Gere in the Anchorage airport one time. He was with a pair of supermodel types. I guess they were going or coming from visiting the Dalai Lama.

I sat across from Drew Brees' mom (exit row) on a flight back from Indianapolis once after one of his Purdue wins.

Jimmy Carville or the late Congressman Bill Young of Florida.

ETA Jimmy sat behind me on a flight the day after the NC in 2011. Dude was in coach, was down the upgrade list just ahead of me.

Cheech Marin in the 80's. I didn't know who he was but my dad was stoked. Jodeci, back when they were a thing.

Several years ago, my daughter had a seat next to Charlie Pride. My daughter was early teens, and had no idea who he was. She said the guy couldn't believe she had never heard of him. Other than that, he was really nice and friendly. On the way home, after we picked up her up at the airport, she told us who she sat beside, but still didn't really know who he was.

A few months later, some country award show was on and they were inducting him into the country hall of fame or something, so I called my daughter into the room to see if she recognized him. She was kinda embarrassed when I told her that the reason he was on TV was he was going into the hall of fame.

We still give her crap about it from time to time.

I know CSB

Flew with Jim Furyk once. I'm sure there have been more but I never noticed.

My dad works overseas so he gets to fly first class all the time. Sat next to JJ Abrams on a connection from LAX to Hawaii

Malcolm Jenkins, the summer after he was drafted by the Saints.

He sat right next to me. I didn't recognize him at first, but I noticed the brand on his arm that I remembered seeing during the LSU national championship game when he played for Ohio State. He then ate some Popeye's, pulled out some Saints DVDs and watched footage on his MacBook.

Was on a flight from Boston to Cincinnati and Dirk Nowitzki (or someone who looked exactly like him) was on the flight.

I'm pretty confident it was him as you don't see many 7' Germans walking around too often.

George Foreman on a flight from Houston to Vegas about 15 years ago. He was there to announce a boxing match for HBO or PPV.

Chick I was with got his autograph and told him she just LOVED his grill.

I once sat next to a very hot chick on a long flight, but I was too much of a pussy to say much.
