misguided and confused you are.

WTF, I've never said one was worse than the other. I merely stated that, in my opinion, there isn't a worse kind of evil than having 20 young children gunned down simply because some deranged individual felt it was time to kill some kids.

Are those other acts equally evil? yes. are they worse? Not in my opinion.

One could argue that many of the people in ISIS are also mentally and deranged -- that does not excuse the acts. Nor does the fact that Lana was a sociopath excuse him for the evil he was and the pain he inflicted.

We're not talking about apples and oranges. We're talking about evil and evil. There should be no excuses for it... and motivation needn't be a reasoning evaluating one over the other, nor should it be a justification of one or the other.

Yeah, but but but there's that lunatic church in the US saying that God hates gay people, and somebody called in a bomb threat to an abortion clinic. See, same thing right?

This is the problem. People like you watching it. Media organizations like NBC, Fox, ABC airing it and talking about it. STOP. Stop fueling the fire. Do NOT GIVE these morons viewing time, reactions, etc. That is why they do it. Because people are listening, watching, etc.

Gotta be honest, I don't understand the mindset of people who want to watch these videos.

I think if you watch you become more enthusiastic about stopping it, otherwise you dismiss it because there's no mental image engraved.

I'm with you there. I can handle grotesque things if I have to, but in no way do I want to subject myself to something as horrifying as that.

I can't fathom what these poor families have to endure knowing it's out there.

I don't need to see a man being burned alive to know that it shouldn't be happening.

it's not anything you don't see on HBO. hell I watched Fury last night. It looks no different than that (which brings up a question of validity)

I completely understand why folks are against watching the video. I just prefer to know exactly how evil the world is around me.

I consider myself a fairly literate person. I don't need TV to understand.

The answer to the question of "why people watch" is so much longer than what I'm about to type, but here goes a very short answer...

It's similar to pornography. The body, or the flesh, lusts after all sorts of things. If one finds themselves addicted to pornograghy, eventually it will alter their mental makeup. Normal thoughts of sex are no longer a turn on, weirder and weirder porn is sought and found, and eventually they have fallen so deep into the trap that they cannot obtain an erection from normal stimulus (the company of a woman).

The flesh lusts to see pain in some people, and they are so used to watching graphic tv that infiltrates our society that it takes something torturous and perverted like this to "get their rocks off".

Look guys, don't shoot the messenger. I'm no better than anyone else reading this, and I sincerely mean that. However, this post is truth and you know it.

Its not the truth at all. Because you can't handle the truth you cast the military, surgeons, ER nurses, crime scene investigators as lusting. Lol. Watch the fricking video and see what animals ISIS and Muslims are.

ER nurse here. Seen a lot of shite. Dead kids. Dead men. People die in front of me.

I watched ONE Mexican cartel beheading video. I'll not watch another.

Why can't we LET them have their Islamic State? Throw a huge fence around it. Shoot down anything that tries to fly from it. If they mount any offensive to leave, bomb them until there are no more bombs. Or until the crater is so large that decent people in the reason are in danger of falling in.
