I agree with you to an extent. However, at some point Christians will take responsibility for the extremists in our society. It is time for the Muslims to choose a side.

But if push comes to shove, they'll support this shite.

If most "Christians" were asked to declare Muhammed as God's prophet or have your head chopped off, my guess is many would convert.

I used to think that the end times "mark of the beast" was going to be RFID or technological. I think it will be simpler. "Do you renounce Christianity and accept Islam" No? Behead them.

That's what is happening right now among Middle East Christians.

It's a hard comparison. I've never condemned Westboro or Army of God because they don't have anything to do with me. If asked I'll say that.

Plenty of muslim groups do, as do some muslim countries. But yes, there are certainly those in many muslim countries who look at this stuff and shrug, or worse, support it fully.

Radical Islam is more common in the muslim world than Westboro stuff is in the Christian world, this is true.

But, a lot of the moderate muslim community, which is sizable, has spoken out against this shite. Jordan, which some might call a moderate muslim nation, is fighting it directly.

Most of us are non-muslims living in America. Why would we hear anything from them? I'm sure the Middle East sees riveting tales of Christians condemning Westboro all the time.

Also look up studies done asking about support of honor killings of women. You will see high percentages in Muslims from several different countries that support a family killing their daughter/female relative if she had premarital sex. Yep....such a peaceful religion.......

I have family that lives in the Middle East and will share their views.

Most Muslims are outraged at these actions. Sadly, a beheading, or other forms of execution, are more attractive to media outlets compared to statements of outrage.

Regardless, prayers to the families of those who lost their lives.

It sucks that these hostages are dying and the way they are dying, but they most likely knew that it was a possibility before they entered Syria, Iraq, etc. I don't at all think that ISIS should even be acknowledged in their ransom requests. That'll make taking hostages worthless to them if they don't ever get anything in return.

As long as you are not the hostage, what does it matter, huh.

What allows wars to occur are the smaller crimes being ignored.

A good politician would would immediately respond as the Jordanians proposed.

So was N Vietnam. I am just pointing out that it is interesting that people are starting to advocate a no-mercy attitude towards these guys that hasn't been seen is a great while.

That may be, but wearing the veil and getting stoned because someone raped you are different degrees of crazy and that is a distinction worth noting.

I know it may be cumbersome to draw the distinctions, but they're important both for accuracy and for credibility.

That's true. The conspiracy contingent even has the USA funding Isis so we get worked up enough to keep our war machine fed.

Me, I don't know but barbarian actions are not stopped when you turn the other cheek.

Then I am a small minded individual. I don't trust any of them. Reminds me of Vietnam. Couldn't trust any of them either.
