Cris Carter acts like he is the main voice of retired football players.
It has to be affirmitive action because the dude straight up sucks and the fraudulence is just dripping from him.

glad i missed it.
i guess i haven't paid much attention to Carter until this year.
i haven't really cared for his commentary about all of the off the field topics this past season.
but to be fair i don't hold any of his other colleagues opinions that high on that stuff either.
when they aren't talking about the game itself, I don't fricking care.

Trent Dilfer was on ESPN announcing the end of the New England Patriots as a good football team when they lost to Kansas City in Week 4.

Dilfer is bright.
CC is an idiot.

And he has said numerous times since then that he was wrong.

Carter said that deflated balls gives you a competitive advantage in cold weather and Dilfer said it doesn't.

What an asinine thing for Dilfer to say. The balls were deflated, so at minimum the Patriots think it provides an advantage.

Cris Carter is a moron, especially with the Ian Rapoport column that came out earlier.
Posted on 2/2/15 at 7:52 am to Turbeauxdog
He's massively over simplifying what he said.
Carter said this tarnishes Belichicks legacy enough he won't be a sure fire HoFer. Dilfer then slammed him with other ways teams break rules and asked why he doesn't freak out then.

For sure.
Cris Carter, and everyone else, is butthurt.
Dilfer called out Steve Young on an earlier segment on Sunday, too.

Dilfer called his arse out, said it wasn't a big deal,
Look, do I think it was a big deal? Probably not. It's made better by the fact that the AFCCG was a blowout, and deflated balls had nothing to do with the gang rape that was that football game.
But this is strike two against him for cheating. You know, doing something that actually gave them a competitive advantage on the field? Obviously the entire coaching staff needs to be suspended, including the GM. Brady needs to sit out have a season. Draft picks must be forfeited.
But thats mostly the Saints fan in me speaking.

The Ian Rapoport NFL leak should have put a huge damper in the deflategate talk. It hasn't and some people are going to look like idiots if they keep pushing this.

That explains the 2nd half

Only one ball was 2 psi under. A bunch were just a "tick" under, from the NFLs personal leak reporter.

lol at Bruce Irvin
First off, the ejection and his thuggery.
Secondly, bashing on their offense for the play call after the game in the media. Just such an a-hole thing to do. Maybe you guys shouldn't have allowed 2 touchdown drives in 7 minutes of game time.

I love how average fans think they know what gives, or doesn't give, professional athletes advantage. Steroids, deflated balls, recording other teams practices. If it doesn't give someone an advantage, why would they do it?

I'd love to hear one of these examples. I could be wrong, but I can't remember any cases where teams broke rules outside of the field of play and review of officials and weren't chastised.

Dilfer and Carter are automatic mutes on their own. Together, I need to be talked down from burning my tv.

Deflated balls of course (it is ESPN). He said if it was up to him, Belichick isn't a slam dunk for the Hall. Dilfer called his arse out, said it wasn't a big deal, and even if he thinks it is, he's massively jumping the gun based on reputation
Well I agree with Trent there. Belichick is a cheater but he's also the greatest coach ever. The two are not necessarily mutually exclusive.
