How can you spin that as a negative to the other guy?

Don't be proud of your ignorance.

Rednecks often say, "There's two kinds of beer, Budweiser and free beer."

Yeah, they are just throwing money away with the yearly Superbowl commercials and all the product you see in stores.

A lot of people do. People who know that all the "light" beers are barely real beer.

Never said they were throwing it away. Obviously they are number 1 in beer sales. I personally do not see many people drinking it.

Agreed. It's ubiquitous, though.

I already did, or tried. Being proud of not knowing something makes you look ridiculous. That's not limited to beer, btw.

I rarely see anyone drinking it, but I live in a major city and most people I drink around are professional types drinking craft beer or wine or bourbon.

Craft is the the rule here, though obviously sales of BMC dominates.

I like dark beer though.

That's what cracked me up watching these bud commercials. They had a glass with what looked liked very dark beer. They don't even make dark beer. In fact the beer they make doesnt even use real grains, its barely beer at all.

It's the McDonald's of beer.
