If you're trying to say expectations might be unrealisticly high then I agree with you. PM addressed that indirectly by saying we're not going to win every game and pitchers are't going to get every batter out. He said we will have some peaks & valleys but the plan is to keep improving all season as some of our young players get experience at D1 baseball.
Again, I think his comments were for the benefit of the players so they won't put too much pressure on themselves and get down just because we lose an early season game or two.
He talked about our opening opponent, Kansas, and said they will be a good test to start the season. Kansas was a tourney team last season and should bring a good team to the Box.
