2nd annual Roux Rally Gumbo cook off @ TinRoof BR Tomorrow!

Sup guys just throwing this out there for anyone who may be interested. I was approached by a friend last week who is close to this project and asked if I wanted to get a team together. Last year was only a few teams, but the pieces are in place for a much bigger event this year. All the proceeds go to KIDS charity. Live music and plenty of Tin Roof products to go around. I might as well talk a little smack, so here goes.
I'm calling out any and all of the teams ( ESPECIALLY the ones who PLACED or WON the Florida Fish on Fire gumbo cookoff a few months ago) to bring your asses down here and see how LSU does gumbo.

Bumping this since we are about a week out. Looks like we have around 20 teams! I'll be out there with a duck and andouille, so come meet and greet for a good cause. LSU basketball at noon @ UF, and baseball game at 3 in BR, so if you're going to the game, come fill up your belly first.

If I could get my wife to go do this she would have a good chance. That red neck woman can cook a great roux/gumbo. She cooks better gumbo than me. I think we might just ride out and check this out.
