I talked to Miss Linda at the Poboy Festival and she told me she was opening up a new place "around April"

Is this something my wife and I can come to and eat some good gumbo and drink some cold beer? If so, how much is it?

Nvm, I see now that it's $10 a head. I'll be there!
The question should be what WOULDN'T I eat from Commanders
I recommended the idea to the guys at City Pork and was told that they're working on something similar. I tried their current king cake concoction and while it was OK, I think their take on a boudin-stuffed one could be stellar.
I'm not a drinker; I go for the burgers, fried PB&J, and the games. I bring my 6-year old with me and he has just as much fun as I do. Then again, we don't go after dark. I wouldn't go on a gameday, either.
Are you the same guy that just discovered Sriracha?

Scoobie205 who has the best fries? BBQ pork cheese fries from Central BBQ in Memphis.

They sell them at the NOLA Food Fest in March. Central BBQ has a booth. Fry Bar is there too.
LT & Butkus & Reggie White were the first that came to mind. The a Steelers had some badasses back in the day: Mean Joe Greene, Mel Blount, and my personal favorite, Jack Lambert. Deacon Jones, Singletary, Ronnie Lott, Rod Woodson... all good answers.

BourgsTheWord who has the best fries? That's about the only good thing at Jays. Most overrated BBQ in BR.

Jays is horrible, just horrible. Worst sides I've ever had at a BBQ restaurant. Only worse sandwiches that come to mind are the ones at Hi-Ho.

I'll prob go Tuesday night and get a couple dozen charbroiled. Hopefully they can get their service issues resolved because just about everyone I've spoken to who's been there says the food is good.
Pluckers sweet potato waffle fries
BJs shoestring fries
Fry Bar's pimento cheese fries
Boucherie's duck fat garlic-Parm fries

I know I'm in the minority but I prefer spears over chips. The ones at a pluckers with the jalapeño-strawberry chutney are my favorite.

I'd eat everything in this thread with the exception of the grasshoppers.

My most despised food is raw celery. I'd rather eat a pocketful of assholes than celery.
