You're not gonna make it bro. Give up. Dip doesn't cause cancer the way cigs do. You're good.

After reading page one I put one in...would love to quit just know its going to be hard because I literally associate dipping with everything...hunting fishing working driving watching tv

Yup this is what I'm struggling with. I feel like I've forgot something and just feel bored without it.

You have a weak mind baw. Seriously, you can think yourself out of the cravings.

Nicorette gum is just as bad to get addicted to.

No, I've seen those but I don't want to replace one habit with another.
Cold turkey. No mints, seeds, gum, nothing.

Never really understood the addiction, dipped for years and one day just said screw it and stopped cold turkey, wasn't that hard, did the same with cigs after college
Good luck though

my health insurance jumps $50 per month in July for tobacco use. it will become the common practice with insurance companies. I quit smoking 19 years ago but dammit, I love a good dip!!!!

Who else is in this misery with me?
I've been in it for three years this past Dec 17, it took my a couple weeks and me putting on ten pounds to quit.

I quit smoking cigs about 8 years ago. If you really wanna quit, it's not that hard. I just remember having a cigarette one day and thinking to myself "this is nasty, what the hell am I doing?" Went about 5 days without a cigarette. Then I bummed one off of a friend and remember thinking how shitty it tasted. Haven't had one since. I do enjoy an occasional cigar, but at least those don't taste like poison.
I've tried dip, and it's disgusting. Don't know why people do it.

I'm on day 15. I did slip up Monday night after drinking a twelve pack and bummed a dip from a buddy. hasn't been bad at all except that one night I was drinking. Just takes some will power. Good luck!

Have you tried Grinds?
I have some coming in the mail tomorrow. I've done them in the past and been able to put my Copenhagen down. Unfortunately I end up with a grinds packet in my mouth all day.

They have been hunting the field a lot this year. He likes to park his truck in the middle of the field that he's hunting. He's a strange dude. We haven't had anymore run ins lately

This past August was 3 years for me. Quit cold turkey after 1.5 cans a day for 15 years. Every once in a while I'll have a craving.
