So he pretty much got away with it. Fining him 70,000 is the equivalent of not punishing him at all.

I don't really understand this. No one has any reason to not take gutless cheap shots now. There's never gonna be a more vulgar violation by a more deserving repeat offender. There's no way you can send this message if you're the league. It was a chance to justifiably hit him where it hurt. This was a no brainer, I'm very disappointed in the process and will never understand this decision
