This whole Super Bowl or bust thing is bullshite. No one is firing a coach that goes to the NFCCG with an 7-9 record and if you go to the Super Bowl with that you'll probably get an extention

agreed. the super bowl is a by product of luck. the good coaches get their teams in the playoffs and have a chance. weird things can happen in individual games. key players can be out or less than 100% or weather happens or quirky bounces or bad calls by refs.
I agree if Smith wins the South and wildcard and doesn't get blown out in the divisional round he's good. they need a new GM and rebuild the D.

If we go to the CG he is 100% keeping his job. If we win the wildcard and lose the next round that is where it will be tricky.
