I care. I've seen far too many people (some friends, some not) who've had their lives completely and utterly fricked over by rape or by false claims of rape. It's that blase' attitude that cheapens the discussion to the point where nothing can ever change. From the way you started the thread I thought you gave an actual damn about the subject, that you weren't just talking out of your arse. Was I wrong?
I do care, but some neck-bearded college sophmore running out of arguments on the internet is not the same as being accused of rape by a female irl. It's not going to ruin a single minute of my life and I rather enjoy when people show their asses.

Wrong. I have googled many terms I heard from the 50s. Nothing comes up.

Or did I dream UVA, Duke Lacross, Tawana Brawley and 1000s of other illigitimate rapes that didn't make national news

Someone already did if you can be bothered to read

I'm not sure what you are implying. I guarantee you there have been far more aggravated rapes than false rape claims.
Like 60-40 far more?
Or 90-10 far more.

My mistake, thought you were championing the term.
quote:
The inclusion of the word, "illegitimate" directly in front of the word, "rape" means that in reality it wasn't a rape.
Then there's no reason to state it at all. It's not a charge and thus should not be used. Try using it in a sentence that does not in some way infer guilt of something.

The only difference between the two is the anonymity. How does not knowing the identity somehow make it okay?

Provide a link to your assertion that if it's a "term" then there is a something on the internet for it,

however, I did provide a link that says it has no legal or law enforcement meaning.
Irrelevant.

My guess is you dont know what the frick you are talking about.
Your problem is that you are guessing what the truth is.
When you guess whether something is true or not true then there is a 50% probability of being wrong.
In this case, you guessed wrong.

sure thing right after you provide me with the answer to my question first!
Seriously if there is a term that actually means something, there will be **something** on the internet about it. Especially if its today.

Nope. The last time was a week ago and I can't remember what it was. But I'll remember you the next time it happens.
I like your new pic.

Pick your appropriate modifier then. There's a difference between forcible rape (rape in my way of thinking) and statutory rape which is sometimes forcible, (rape in my way of thinking) and consentual statutory rape. (rape in my way of thinking)

To my knowledge, he's not claiming that I raped him. There's quite a difference. You are trying too hard.

If you're okay with people saying you're probably a rapist, so be it.

Some things can be described using different words, for example, a "lie" can also be called an "untruth" or "not the truth".
Therefore, I can accept the use of the term, "illegitimate rape" as another way to call something that is "not a rape".

I get what you are saying but the term "illegitimate rape" was only coined after the nonsense started that it is always rape when a drunk female college student has sexual intercourse with a male college student.

What would they call it if the guy got too drunk and ended up with whiskey-dick? Attempted illegitimate rape?

a) you provide a link
b) you are a retard
c) you have no clue what you are talking about
I am going to go with C, but b might be true also

Apparently, you want to keep making the wrong guess since you deliberately left out:
d) there is no link

No because republican congressmen running for Senate are theocratic simpletons.
