So it looks like the general consensus is that peoples' #1 pet peeve on the course is just other golfers.

When someone hits a ball near our group, we stroll over and hit it back at them.
Had a partner in a tournament one time break his driver over his knee after his lousy tee shot.
Another partner who was a club thrower lost one in tree once.

I can't stand playing with one guy that plays in our regular dog fight. He talks the entire time. He won't hit his shot until he is done with his story. The same stories we heard last time we had to play with him. He is also one for always giving swing advice. He is a 6 handicap, I am a 12. I beat him by 2 strokes the last 3 times I had to play with him.
Of course I'm the guy on the phone half the time with work. Even on the weekends. But I walk away from everybody so they can't hear me talking. And I'll put them on hold and hit my shot if it's my turn.
