But my biggest pet peeve is the hack that takes 10 practice swings, acts like a pro, you know the guy. Will always wait for the green to clear on a par 5 because he thinks he has a shot to hit it, even though his drive barely went 200 yards. The absolute worst is when I'm behind a foursome of these winners.

And once the green clears he "goes for the green" and chilly dips the ball about 75 yards, and it takes him two more shots to eventually get to the fricking green.

I use to have a terrible slice until the golf pro at my home course told me a trick. He told me that when I swing, try to turn the club to the point you actually hit the ball with the toe of the club head. He said you won't actually be able to hit the ball with the toe but what you will do is turn the club over, closing the face, and thus cure your slice. It worked for me.

Other people being on the course. This is my course you asshats what are you doing here???

It's not hard to do, and makes things easier and smoother for everyone.

I know I play fast, but I can't stand when I'm in a nice groove and playing well, only to come up on a group who is taking forever (and not palying ready golf), and they won't let me/us play through. I play much better when I can get to my ball, evaluate the shot, address it, and hit. Driving or walking to my ball and having to sit there for ten minutes absolutely kills my game and infuriates me.
