Might not be cabs, but Uber is rolling deep here

You are just badmouthing. I have watched every single episode of Girls and can confirm that New York is THE place to be for the under 30 crowd.

It has been a tough scene ever since they closed down Punchers, that was our go-to spot for drinks after late nights at the office. Now we usually hit up B&T's and The Office. And I tell you what, the music scene at Live After 5 is a veritable who's who of BR young professionals.

There are a lot of things I find odd about this list.
1. There seems to be a large emphasis on affordable housing throughout, yet NYC is number one.
2. Just count Dallas and Fort Worth as the same place and move it higher up on the list.
3. I realize I'm biased, but I'm surprised Boston was so low.

I wish New Orleans had this type of networking and social scene. Guess, I'll just have to settle with crying a tear into my beer at the Milan Lounge and pray that I get mugged to death

Wait, so the OT has shifted its philosophy? It's cool to shite on New Orleans and not BR now?
Duly noted.

I actually like B&T's FWIW

Only for the Plant rats that still drink at Fred's at 35, chasing 18 year old tail and fighting minorities in the parking lot

I had a blast in Boston

Good to hear it man.
What all did you hit up?

I'm sure the new "Super Matherne's" being built downtown played a major part in the rankings.

Go pick me up some Calvin's chicken salad. TIA.

The vast majority of young adults under 30 in New Orleans are working-service type jobs. The lack of real professional opportunities may have something to do with the rank.
In contrast, I don't believe that's the case in BR. Not as much of a tourist-driven economy.

Baton Rouge is a good place to be if you are in oil and gas, government, or possibly medicine. My criticism of the state is that they are not diversifying well.

It's a great list, but you cannot leave New Orleans, Louisiana off of it. It is, without question, #1. It's hilarious, really.
