And it makes me sad for the good Saints/LSU fans because they have dipshits that are actually happy about this and it gives them a bad name.
They certainly do.

This is really bad news.
Newton plays for a rival, but I've always liked him.
I hope he gets better quickly; he's a great competitor.

I had heard reported on ESPN that another car pulled out in front of him?

Have no idea how accurate

The same could be said for anybody in pro sports.

People who think Cam is a bad human being have to rely on either 1) his smiling smugness on the field 2) a single incident happened at UF years ago 3) guesses about his dad's dealings with MSU.

There is truly nothing else out there indicating he's a bad guy. Some people, predominantly Saints fans, hate him and that is fine by me, but that doesn't mean the hatred is well reasoned.

Don't be so defensive.. I never said he was a bad guy.. I just hate when people say 'he's a good guy bc he does charity work with XXXXX organization... ALL NFL players have to do that stuff

I don't know whether Cam is a great guy or not, I just feel compelled to point out the "bad human being" arguments are unsupported.

I do understand that we have a natural instinct to discount charitable actions of celebrities (I certainly do). But there have been a number of stories about Cam which would indicate his efforts exceed the PR mandated stuff. Starting with his weekly volunteering with an elementary school in Auburn while in college (to my knowledge this wasn't set up by Auburn and wasn't part of Auburn's organized efforts in the community).

Same I hurt as Romo (1 game missed) and Bryce Petty (2 games missed) means Carolina is done in playoff picture and should rest him

This.

At the end of the day, football is his livelihood. I would never want anything like this to affect his ability to do that to the best of his ability. I don't care what team he plays for or what he does on the field.

Why is Cam Newton driving a 15 year old Dodge Ram?! That thing doesn't even have side curtain airbags. And is just, in general, a piece of shite.

Yeah, I saw the two cars; and I was sure Newton was driving the nice-looking sedan.

Hope he's ok. He's a great villain. Need him back out on field ASAP.
